Totally 4 Business is proud to be offering a new approach to providing bookkeeping services to small businesses. Due to the growing popularity of online (cloud-based) accounting systems, which make bookkeeping much quicker and easier, it is no longer necessary to have a dedicated bookkeeper to process the financial data.

Experienced, qualified bookkeepers can now provide a valuable support, advisory and training service, instead of searching for missing paperwork and questioning bank transactions.

At Totally 4 Business we offer advice and support on all aspects of bookkeeping, from keeping control of the paperwork through to understanding management reports. We are also able to transfer accounts over to Xero and train users through bespoke onsite or online sessions.

Nicola Wilson
Nicola qualified as a bookkeeper with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers in 2006 and immediately set up Totally 4 Business. She quickly gained many clients from a variety of businesses; graphic design, website design, sports management, coaching, property management and furniture making.

Prior to qualifying as a bookkeeper, Nicola worked as a draughtsman for Consulting Engineers and then as an estimator for a handmade tile and natural flooring company. So her entire career has involved working closely and accurately with numbers.

During 2009 one of Nicola’s clients wanted her to look at Xero and her love affair with this accounting system began. She became a Xero Certified Advisor in March 2010, one of the first people to gain this status in the UK.

They transform, almost overnight, from a business owner who has no interest in their accounts and find them a necessary chore to a business owner who is fully interested in their accounts, how their business is progressing financially and how they can make it grow. In June 2010, Nicola successfully tested a series of Xero Training webinars with a very helpful group of Virtual Assistants, who were keen to learn its full functionality. Her webinars continue to be enthusiastically received by all who participate.
